When can I book a boat?
Our rental starts on 15 June 2026. You can already book online for any date from 15 June onwards — earlier dates are not available.
Can I rent a boat in Den Helder without a licence?
Yes. Our sloops stay under 15 km/h and 15 hp, so you sail legally without a boat licence.
What does a boat rental cost?
Sloop Classic is €159 per day (max 5 people), Sloop Premium €199 per day (max 6 people). Both include insurance and briefing.
Where can I sail?
From our dock at the Doggersvaart you sail to Willemsoord, Fort Westoever, the Noordhollands Kanaal and the calm inland waterways around Den Helder.
Is Den Helder Boot Verhuur suitable for children?
Yes. Our sloops are stable and safe. Life jackets in children's sizes are free.
Can I book online?
Yes. Pick a date and a sloop on the homepage and confirm in a few clicks. Pay online or at the dock.
What happens in bad weather?
We reschedule for free in case of code yellow or worse. We call you in the morning if conditions look uncertain.
